Academic position in Disability Studies and Inclusive Education (Lecturer or Assistant Professor)

The School of Humanities, Social and Education Sciences, Department of Education Sciences of European University Cyprus is seeking to recruit qualified applicants for a full-time academic position at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor in the following discipline:

Department of Education Sciences

• Disability Studies and Inclusive Education

Duties and responsibilities:

• As described in the University’s Charter bylaws

Qualifications required:

• Doctorate degree Ph.D. in the relevant field
• Expertise in disability policies and practices
• Expertise in Pedagogies of Inclusive Education
• Experience in the education of children with disabilities and/or special educational needs.

Former Teaching and Research Experience :

• For the rank of Lecturer substantial proof of competence in teaching and research is required
• For the rank of Assistant Professor at least 3 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required
