The School of Humanities, Social and Education Sciences, Department of Social Behavioral Sciences of European University Cyprus is seeking to recruit qualified applicants for full-time academic position at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor in the following discipline:

Department of Social Behavioral Sciences

• Applied Clinical/Counselling Psychology

Duties and responsibilities:

• As described in the University’s Charter by Laws

Qualifications required:

• Doctorate degree (Ph.D or Psych.D in the relevant applied field)
• Expertise in Psychological Interventions and Psychotherapeutic models
• Minimum 5 years of previous clinical experience after gaining an applied Master degree or Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology
• An active professional license for the year 2021-2022 from the Cyprus Council of Registration of Psychologists (ΣΕΨ) in the specialty of Clinical or Counselling Psychology
• Experience in the application of Psychometric tests (e.g., Intelligence, Personality and Psychopathology tests etc.) will be considered an advantage
• The coordination of Applied Academic programs in Clinical/Counselling Psychology and/or Clinical Internships/Practicums will be considered an advantage

Former Teaching Experience :

• For the rank of Lecturer substantial proof of competence in teaching and research is required
• For the rank of Assistant Professor at least 3 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required
