TENDER

to select

 

 

3. two employees to the associate positions of Assistants in the scientific area of Social Sciences, the scientific field of Educational and Rehabilitation Sciences, full-time, temporarily

 

 

All applicants must meet the general requirements prescribed by the Labour Act ("Official Gazette" 93/14, 127/17, 98/19., 151/22. and 64/23.)

 

In addition to the conditions regulated by Article 39, Paragraphs 4 and 6 of the  Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education ("Official Gazette" 119/22), applicants are required to meet the requirements prescribed by Articles 23, Paragraphs 3 and 4 of the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Article 49, Paragraph 3 and 4 of the Statute of the Faculty of Education, and Article 26 of the Ordinance on the implementation of the procedure for election/re-election to titles and corresponding job positions at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek.

 

Applicants for the Tender are required to submit documentation according to Form No. 4. (Obrazac br. 4)

 

 

Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education, the Statute of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, the Statute of the Faculty of Education, the Decision of the Rector's Assembly on the necessary requirements for evaluation of teaching and scientific-professional activities within the procedure for appointment to scientific-teaching titles , the Ordinance on the implementation of the procedure for election/re-election to titles and corresponding job positions at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, and the Form No. 4. (Obrazaca br.4) are available on the website of the Faculty of Education www.foozos.hr/opci-podaci/propisi (general data - regulations).

 

Along with the Application Form for the Tender, applicants should submit evidence of meeting the conditions in electronic form (PDF).

For applicants who are foreign citizens, it is necessary to enclose proof of knowledge of the Croatian language following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(C2).

For applicants with foreign higher education qualifications, evidence of the recognition process of the foreign higher education qualification must be submitted.

 

This tender is open to both male and female applicants under the same conditions.

 

Applicants who are entitled to exercise the right to priority in employment under a particular law – the Act on Croatian  Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families ("Official Gazette" No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21, and 156/23), Article 48 of the Act on Civilian Homeland War Victims ("Official Gazette" No. 84/21), and Article 48.f. of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids ("Official Gazette" No. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13, and 98/19), Article 9 of the Act on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, and 32/20), are obliged to invoke this right in their application for the competition and submit all evidence required by special regulations to exercise this right. These candidates are given preference in employment over other candidates, only under equal conditions. For candidates who, in their application for the competition, invoke the right to preferential treatment under the Act on Croatian  Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families ("Official Gazette" No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21, and 156/23) and the Act on Civilian Homeland War Victims ("Official Gazette" No. 84/21), the list of evidence required to exercise this right is available at the link of the Ministry of Croatian War Veterans: https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843 . Candidates invoking the right of priority in employment under Article 9 of the Act on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, and 32/20) in their application for the Tender are obliged to invoke this right and submit all evidence of meeting the required conditions, as well as evidence of disability.

 

Applications for the Tender, along with the required enclosures, must be submitted electronically to the address [email protected] within thirty (30) days from the date of the announcement, with the notation: 'For the Tender under item  3  ('Prijava na natječaj pod točkom 2 '.

 

Untimely and incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants who submit an untimely and incomplete application will not be considered candidates.

 

 

The Faculty of Education will publish the decision of the Faculty Council regarding the selection of the employee on the website www.foozos.hr no later than eight (8) days from the date of their adoption. With the prior consent of the selected applicants, their professional curriculum vitae will also be published.

 

All Tender applicants will be informed about the Tender results no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of its completion.

 

The Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, the Faculty of Education, reserves the right to inform all applicants about the results by e-mail.

 

By applying for the Tender, the candidate consents that all their personal data contained in the tender documents be collected and processed to conduct tenders in accordance with the regulations governing personal data protection, in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of an individual with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

 

In addition to applying for the competition, candidates are required to enclose a completed and signed Consent Form for collecting and processing personal data for the competition, published with the tender on the Faculty of Education website. Without a completed and signed Consent Form, the application will be considered incomplete and will be rejected.
