University of Zagreb Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology announces

 

THE INVITATION

 

for employment

 

 

1. one employee (m/f) for the associate position of the first type for a temporarily vacant associate position, assistant, in the scientific field of Biotechnical Sciences, scientific field of Wood Technology, for a certain period of time (until the employee returns to work), full-time in the Institute for Production Organization.

 

Conditions:

- completed undergraduate and graduate studies of Wood Technology

 

Additional conditions:

- past recognitions, awards, etc. for excellence in studies

- participation in scientific research work

 

Job description:

- participates in organizing and preparing classes and in preparing and conducting the written part of the exam

- conducts exercises, field teaching and consultations in the subjects he is assigned to teach

- leads the preparation of final works and is a member of the commission for the defense and/or evaluation of these works

- participates in scientific and professional work

- publishes the results of scientific and professional work

- participates in scientific and professional meetings

- participates in preparing textbooks, scripts and other teaching materials

- participates in the work of faculty bodies

- performs other tasks by order of the dean, vice-dean and head of the institute, which, given the nature and type of work, should be considered tasks for which an employment contract has been concluded

 

 

2. one employee (m/f) for the professional post of the first type, expert associate in the system of science and higher education, for the scientific field of Biotechnical Science, for the scientific field of Forestry, for an indefinite period, full-time in the Laboratory of Forest Biomass at the Institute of Forest Engineering, with the condition of trial work of 6 months.

Conditions:

- completed graduate studies in Forestry

- active use of Microsoft Office applications

-  driving license B category

- experience in field research in forestry and laboratory analyzes of the quality of forest biomass

 

Job description:

- performs scientific research and professional tasks in accordance with the Faculty's activities, including work on the preparation of topics for future research

- publishes research results, performs other duties as ordered by the head of the Institute

- performance of other tasks by order of the dean, vice-dean and head of the institute, which, given the nature and type of work, should be considered tasks for which an employment contract has been concluded

 

 

Along with the signed competition application, candidates for both positions should attach: a resume with information on education and work experience, proof of the appropriate level of education, a transcript of grades from all years of study with an average, a decision on the recognition of a foreign educational qualification for applicants who obtained the qualification abroad , an electronic record of data recorded in the registry of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute issued during the duration of this tender (e-work book), a copy of an identity card or residence card, other evidence specified in the text of the invitation. The above-mentioned evidence is attached in the original or a copy that does not need to be certified. The signed application also contains the applicant's data (name and surname, residential address, telephone number, e-mail, exclusively for the purposes of the competition procedure).

The Faculty reserves the right to conduct a preliminary knowledge and ability test for candidates who meet the formal conditions of the competition. Candidates will be notified of the place and time of the examination by email to the email address they provide in the application. If the candidate does not attend the verification, it is considered that he has withdrawn his application for the competition.

A candidate who refer to the right of preference in employment is obliged to attach all prescribed documentation according to a special law. A candidate who, in the application for the competition, refers to the right of preference in employment in accordance with Article 102 of the Law on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21), are required to submit, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, and all necessary evidence from Article 102, paragraph 1 of the Law, available at the link:

The Faculty reserves the right not to make a decision on the selection of applicants and to cancel or suspend the invitation without special explanation.

The contest is available to both sexes. The terms used in this contest, which have a gender meaning, regardless of whether they are used in the masculine or feminine gender, include both masculine and feminine genders equally.

Pursuant to the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation no. 2016/679 and the Law on the Implementation of the General Regulation on Data Protection (Official Gazette No. 42/18), all documents submitted to the competition were sent by the candidate's free will, and it is considered that the candidate has given consent to the processing of all data, which will be processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting the competition procedure.

Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.

The deadline for submitting tender applications is 30 days from the publication of the competiotion in the Official Gazette
