A person who fulfills the sitting conditions can be elected as dean: - a person elected from the ranks of senior lecturers, professors of professional studies, professors of professional studies in permanent selection or teachers elected to a scientific-teaching position - that with her work and commitment she contributed significantly to the improvement and reputation of the Polytechnic or institutions that perform the same or similar activities, stood out for her teaching and scientific work and for leading successful projects in the economy, public sector or local community. Based on Art. 39, paragraph 2 of the Law on Institutions (Official Gazette 76/93, 29/97, 47/99, 35/08, 127/19, 151/22) the dean cannot be a person who, according to the law governing commercial companies, cannot to be a member of the management of a trading company.

Applicants who exercise the right to priority in employment in accordance with Art. 9. Law on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, 32/20), in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, they are also required to submit the proof prescribed by the aforementioned law.

Eligibility criteria
Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered in the further selection process. Persons who submit an incomplete or untimely application for the competition are not considered candidates for the position of dean. The description of the dean's selection procedure is prescribed in articles 35 and 36 of the Statute of the Polytechnic Hrvatsko Zagorje Krapina, which are published on the website of the polytechnic: www.vhzk.hr All applicants who have submitted applications will be notified of the tender results within 45 days of the deadline for tender applications. The competition for the position of dean will be published in "Narodne novine", on the website of the Polytechnic and on the official website for jobs of the European Research Area. By submitting an application to the competition, all applicants give their express consent that the Polytechnic, as the manager of the collection of personal data, can collect, use and further process the applicant's data for the purpose of implementing the tender procedure in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data.
Selection process
The aforementioned tender documentation must be submitted in written form, in the Croatian language, in a sealed envelope marked "tender for the selection of the dean of the VHZK - DO NOT OPEN", within 30 days from the date of publication of the tender. The first day following the publication of the tender in the official newspaper of the Republic of Croatia - "Narodne novine" is taken as the starting day of the deadline. Foreign citizens are required to submit a certified translation of all documentation in the Croatian language. Applications with documentation are sent by registered mail to the address: Croatian Zagorje University of Applied Sciences Krapina, Šetalište hrvatsko narodnogo preporoda 6, 49000 Krapina or delivered directly to the order office at the same address, and applicants are required to submit all the documentation required by the competition in electronic form to e- mail [email protected]. Documents that are submitted in the competition, which are not expressly requested to be originals, are submitted in copies, and the applicant who is selected is obliged to submit the originals for inspection.
