University of Applied Sciences of Rijeka announces

 

PUBLIC JOB COMPETITION

for the election one associate in an associate workplace of teaching assistant in the area of technical sciences, field of traffic technology and transport, for the temporary period in full-time employment.

 

Conditions for the election into an associate workplace

The applicants to the public job competition for the election into an associate workplace have to meet all the requirements as follows:

• completed graduate university study programme or specialist professional graduate study programme, that is an equivalent study programme according to the regulations that were valid in the past (the study programme should be from the scientific area the applicant is apply to);
• positive evaluation of the applicant based on the interview with Election Committee
• average of all the grades at least 3.50 or more.

 

The applicants have to enclose with the signed application:

• Curriculum Vitae with an overview of teaching, professional and scientific activities in Word format;
• the diploma of the completed study programme;
• transcript of records or diploma supplement;
• a solution to the recognition of the foreign educational institution for those applicants that earned their qualifications abroad;
• for applicants who are foreign citizens, evidence of proficiency in the Croatian language (C2 level) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
• identification document.

 

The documents that are attached to the competition, the applicant who will be selected is obliged to submit the original or a certified copy to the University of Applied Sciences of Rijeka when concluding the employment contract.

The applicant who in the application demands the right for an advantage of employment according to the Act on the Rights of Croatian Defenders from the Homeland War and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette no. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21, 156/23), has to submit to the public competition, together with a letter of application, evidence on meeting the required conditions, all the prescribed documentation and the evidence prescribed by Article 103, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Rights of Croatian Defenders from the Homeland War and Members of Their Families, which are posted on the webpage of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans:

The applicants who in their applications to the public competition demand the right for an advantage of employment according to Paragraph 48, Subparagraph f of the Act on Protection of Military and Civil Invalids of War (Official Gazette no. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93; 02/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13, 98/19) have to enclose with the letter of application, besides evidence on meeting the required conditions, the resolution, that is confirmation which proves the abovementioned right, confirmation of unemployment of the Croatian Employment Service issued during this competition and evidence that states in what way their last employment terminated (decision, contract, agreement and similar).

The applicants who in their letter of applications demand the right for an advantage of employment according to Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (consolidated text) (Official Gazette no. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, 32/20) are obliged to besides evidence on meeting the required conditions, enclose an appropriate official document on invalidity based on which the person can enter the register of employed persons with invalidity, and the evidence that states in what way their last employment terminated (decision, contract, agreement and similar).

The applicants who in their letter of applications demand the right for an advantage of employment according to Article 48 of the Civil War Victims Act (Official Gazette 84/21) are obliged to, besides evidence on meeting the required conditions, enclose an appropriate evidence of eligibility employment benefits, which are published on the website of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans:

 According to Article 13, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Gender Equality (Official Gazette no. 82/08, 69/17), persons of both gender have the right to compete.    

The applications with documentation are delivered within 30 days from the day this competition was published in the Official Gazette to the mail address [email protected] . with a note  „Prijava na natječaj pod slovom __“ (enter the letter under which the person applies for the competition).

A complete application to the public competition is an application that contains all the data and appendices stated in this public competition.  

Incomplete and late applications for the competition will not be considered. The applicants who submit incomplete or late applications will not be called to complete their application. 

Individuals interviews will be holed with all the applicants who meet the application requirements.

 According to Article 25 of the Collective Agreement for Science and Higher Education, the University of Applied Sciences of Rijeka will post information on the conducted procedure and the chosen candidate on the website www.veleri.hr , and together with the given permission from the candidate, publish professional work experience, that is relevant data based on which the candidate was chosen, according to the regulations which prescribe personal data protection.

 By applying to the public job competition, the applicants agree that the University of Applied Sciences of Rijeka, as a manager of personal data collection, can collect, use and further process data with the aim of conducting competition, according to the regulations which prescribe personal data protection.
