Offer Description
The Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Rijeka seeks to appoint two (2) Teaching and Research Assistants.
The position of Teaching and Research Assistant in the Department of Psychology includes teaching in the field of clinical and/or health psychology, at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
It is desirable for candidates to attach certificates of completed additional education/courses/workshops and evidence of active participation in conferences in the field of clinical and health psychology.

Skills/Qualifications
Candidates must meet the requirements of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Zakon o visokom obrazovanju i znanstvenoj djelatnosti, Narodne novine n. 119/22) and other legal acts that are based on it and are required to submit evidence of this.
Specific Requirements
Candidates are required to submit the following documents:
- a self-signed application,
- a CV (Europass),
- a copy of the certificate of an BA and MA degree in Psychology or of a four-year undergraduate degree in Psychology (if issued by a university outside Croatia, a certified translation in Croatian and a proof of the degree’s recognition or of an application for its recognition issued by the Croatian Agency for Science and Higher Education),
- a copy of an identification document,
- Certificates of completed additional education/courses/workshops and evidence of active participation in conferences in the field of clinical and health psychology.
Individuals of both genders may apply under equal conditions.
Candidates who are not Croatian native speakers must submit proof of proficiency in the Croatian language at the advanced level.

Selection process
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Rijeka reserves the right to assess candidates' knowledge, interest and motivation for the advertised position. Candidates who meet the conditions for the position will be invited to an interview and will be informed about its date and time.
Candidates who do not present themselves at the interview will be considered to havewithdrawn their job application and will no longer be considered candidates.
