SCIENTIST – LECTURER POSITION, FULL PROFESSOR, for in indefinite period of time, full time job

In the natural sciences field, branch of Chemistry, in the Inorganic and General Chemistry Department (one employee)

All candidates have to fulfil the conditions set by the Labour Law and along with their application they should include the following: a CV, a copy of the diploma, a birth certificate or proof of citizenship (passport), a certificate stating they are not under investigation or being prosecuted for any offence (not older than 6 months).

Candidates that are applying for positions of scientist lecturer have to fulfil the conditions set by the Scientific Research and Higher Education Law and along with their application they should submit the following: a list of scientific papers, expert papers and other papers with the date of publishing, a portfolio of papers and the citation quote, proof that they meet the criteria set by the Rector’s Council and a recommendation for the scientific lecturer position that was last decided upon regarding the candidate along with the student survey report regarding the assessment of the lecturer.

Foreign nationals have to provide proof that they are fluent in Croatian at C2 level according the the Common European Framework for Languages and the certificate stating that their foreign diploma has been verified by the Sciences and Higher Education Agency or proof that they have submitted their diploma to the above mentioned Agency for verification.

Candidates that are entitled to an advantage in comparison to the other candidates due to their special status according to the Homeland Veterans and Members of their Family Law (NN 121/17 and 98/19, article 102 and 103) are obliged to call upon their right and provide proof of their special status by which they are entitled to an advantage in the hiring process.

The processing of personal data is necessary for the hiring process when applying for any job position. The data will be held confidential until the hiring process is over or until it is necessary to do so by law.

The result of the hiring process will be announced on the official website of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology of the University of Zagreb (www.fkit.unizg.hr/natjecaji ).

Any complaints regarding the results can by submitted in written form by mail to the following address: University of Zagreb, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Marko Marulić Square 19, within 15 days of the announcement having been made public on the official website of the Faculty.

A hand written application is to be sent to the below address within 30 days of the announcement in the Narodne Novine official newspaper.
