SCIENTIFIC – TEACHING POSITION, FULL PROFESSOR, for an indefinite period, full time job

In the area of technical sciences, field of Chemical Engineering, in the Physical Chemistry Department (one employee)

The candidate has to fulfil the conditions set by the Labour Law and the Scientific Research and Hither Education Law and along with their application they should include the following: a CV, a copy of their diploma, a certificate proving their citizenship, a certificate stating they are not under investigation and that no law suit is being conducted against them (no older than 6 months), a list of scientific research papers and similar papers stating the date it was published a portfolio of papers with the certificate of citations, proof that they meet the criteria of the Rector’s Council and a recommendation for being elected for a scientific research/teaching position of the Faculty, the last decision regarding their tenure and the report regarding the student survey for assessing the work of the scientific researcher/teacher or lecturer.

Foreign nationals have to submit proof of their fluency in Croatian both oral and written to the C2 level as requested by the Common European Framework for Languages and the certificate stating that their foreign diploma has been verified and accepted by the Scientific Research and Higher Education Agency or a certificate stating that they have submitted their foreign diploma for verification to the above mentioned Agency.

Candidates that are entitled to an advantage in getting hired due to their special status due to the Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of their Family Law (NN 121/17, 98/19, 84/21) have to call upon this right in their application and provide proof of their special status by which they are entitled to the advantage in getting hired as opposed to the other candidates that are all treated equally.

The processing of personal data is necessary during the hiring process . The data will be kept confidential until the end of the hiring process or until it is required to do so by law.

The results of the hiring process will be published on the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology’s official website of the University of Zagreb (www.fkit.unizg.hr/natjecaji ).

Any complaints can be submitted in written form by mail to the following address: University of Zagreb, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Marko Marulić Square 19, 10000 Zagreb within 15 days of the results being published on the official website of the Faculty.

A hand written and signed application should be submitted in written form to the address mentioned below, within 30 days of the announcement in the Narodne Novine newspaper.
