Persuant to Article 40. of the Higher Education and Science Act (Official Gazette No. 119/22) and Annex 4. Program Contract (Urbroj:810/23) and decisions of the Scientific Council  of 1/16/2024,  Director Vida Vukoja, Ph.D. makes the following

 

JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

 

 

1. working position – research assistant:

a)      sholarly field: humanities, subfield: filology; Classical philology; temporary  working position (5 years), full-time.

Requirement: M.A. education of the Greek language and literature, and the Latin language ane litarature

Advantage: academic excellence during the studies, participation in the academic philological projects, published scholarly works, ability to read original Glagolitic texts.

b)      scholarly field: humanities, subfield: history and/or ethnology and anthropoloy; temporary  working position (5 years), full-time.

Requirement: M.A. ethnology and anthropology and/or M. A. history

Advantage: ability to read original Glagolitic texts, participation in cultural and academic activities related to the Glagolitic culture.

Requirements: In addition to the general legal conditions required for employment, applicants must meet additional requirements of the Higher Education and Science Act.

-          diploma copies: of completed undergraduate and graduate university studies or integrated undergraduate and graduate university studies

-          list of published scholarly works and other evidence to support possible claimed advantage

Applicants (f/m) who are entitled to employment priority in accordance with Article 9 of the of the The Law on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled Persons besides the application with the evidence of the fulfilment of the required conditions, need to attach evidence of the relevant state of disablement.
Applicants (f/m) who are entitled to employment priority in accordance with Article 48. of the Act on the Protection of Military Personnel and Civilians Disabled in War (NN 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 13/03, 148/13, 98/19), besides the application with the evidence of the fulfilment of the required conditions, need to attach evidence of the relevant state.

Foreign citizens must attach the proof of the command of the Croatian language (C2) according to the Common Framework of Reference for languages, the certificate of recognition of foreign higher education qualifications issued by the Croatian Agency for Science and Higher Education. Incomplete and late applications will not be taken into consideration.
The applicants will be notified on the results of the competition within 15 days from the date of the decision-making on the selection, in written form and at the Old Church Slavonic Institute web-site: www.stin.hr .
