University of Rijeka, Faculty of Medicine, Croatia announces the call for applications for the following position: Postdoctoral Research Assistant for the project titled “Long-term Survival Mechanisms of Francisella Within Amoeba”, at the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology, at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka.Full-time job (limited-term contract – 24 months).

REQUIREMENTS:

• level 8.2 according to the Croatian Qualifications Framework Act: completed relevant postgraduate study in the field of biomedicine and health, interdisciplinary field of science or natural sciences
• excellent English language proficiency
• computer skills.

• experience working in a scientific research laboratory
• previous recognitions and awards for excellence in research work
• participation in scientific research work, published papers and presentations at scientific conferences.

The Faculty reserves the right not to select any candidate.

Applicants who are not native Croatian language speakers must provide evidence of Croatian language proficiency (B2 level) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Foreign national applicants are required to formally acknowledge the validity of their foreign education qualification.

The application deadline is 30 days after the publication of the Call for applications in the Official Gazette.
