Vacancy for the appointment to the teaching rank of lecturer in the field of arts, subfield of music arts, branch of music reproduction – playing, for Related Instruments A (renaissance lute and vihuela) and Related Instruments B (baroque lute and theorbo), at the String Instruments and Guitar Department – 1 person without concluding an employment contract.

Persons of both genders have the right to apply for the given positions under equal terms.

Conditions: According to the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Act, the conditions of the National Council for Higher Education and the Rectors' Assembly, and the general acts of the Academy of Music.

Special condition: Applicants who are selected for the first time must hold an inaugural lecture.

The application must contain: diploma proving professional qualifications, proof of citizenship, curriculum vitae (maximum one page signed by the applicant), lists and evidence of scientific or artistic, teaching and professional work, a copy of the decision (certificate) on previous selection to the title if selected. Foreign citizens must also enclose proof of knowledge of the Croatian language; level C1 for point 1, 2, level B2 for Point 3, 4 of the call for applications according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the Decision on the Recognition of Foreign Higher Education Qualifications issued by the Agency for Science and Higher Education or a certificate of application. The application, signed CV (maximum one page) and lists should be submitted in written format and on a CD in WORD format (.doc).

Applications shall be accepted for a period of 30 days from the date of publication of this call for applications in the Officila Gazette of the Republic Croatia. Incomplete and late applications shall not be considered.

Applications must be sent via registered mail to the following address: Academy of Music, Zagreb, Trg Republike Hrvatske 12, indicating “za natječaj“ (for the call for applications).

Applicants (m/f) who hold equal opportunity rights according to special regulations are obligated to refer to this right in the application.
