Job vacancy

For an election of an employee (m/f) into a scientific-teaching title and a permanent full time job of a Professor from a scientific area: Technical sciences, field: Interdisciplinary technical sciences, branch: Environmental engineering at the Department of Environmental Engineering (promotion).

Candidates have to fulfil the requirements prescribed by the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Law (OG No. 123/03, 198/03, 105/04, 174/04, 46/07, 63/11, 94/13, 139/13, 101/14, 60/15, 131/17) as well as the requirements prescribed by Rector`s Conference (OG No. 122/17).

Besides an application form, applicants also have to submit the following documents: a CV with their signature (not more than a full text page), data on scientific, teaching and professional activities, a notarized copy of a diploma of an appropriate qualification and an academic degree or a decision on the recognition of a foreign higher education qualification for those candidates who have gained their qualification abroad, a copy of a decision on the election into a scientific title (if it has been carried out), a list and offprint of papers, a proof of paper citation and journal indexation, documents which confirm that candidates fulfil the requirements prescribed by the Rector`s Conference, a copy of an election into a prior scientific-teaching title and proof of citizenship.

An application and documents should also be sent on a CD.

Those applicants whose mother tongue isn`t Croatian have to submit proof of knowledge of the Croatian language, level C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Candidates who state in their application that they have advantage over other candidates

according to special regulations have to submit necessary documents.

The selection procedure includes an interview with applicants and it will be carried out according to the Ordinance on Job Vacancy Announcement at the Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering, University of Zagreb, which is posted on the Faculty website.

Untimely and incomplete applications will not be considered. The result of the procedure will

be posted on the official webpage of the Faculty.
