Postdoctoral fellow position in the Division of Molecular Biology (Laboratory for cell biology and signalling). The candidate should have PhD in the area of biomedicine (filed of basic medical sciences). Experience in protein research, methods for protein isolation, visualization and analysis will be an advantage.

ln addition to the general conditions for employment, applicants must meet the requirements stipulated by the Higher Education and Scientific Activity Act and the Regulations on Supplementary Prerequisites for Appointments to Scientific Positions of the Rudjer Boskovic Institute.

The following should be attached to the application form:

1.    Biography - general information, data on education, acquired professional qualifications and doctoral degree, professional work experience

2.    Proof of the academic degree  

3.    Brief summary of scientific activities in the last position held

4.   Data confirming that the additional prerequisites for appointment to the scientific positions from Article 5 - 18 of the Regulations on Supplementary Prerequisites for Appointments to Scientific Positions have been fulfilled, (indexation and citation of publications, journal impact factor and h-index, principal authorship, as well as the contact data on the collaboration representatives or the principal author when the candidate's contribution to the publications authorship is needed)

 

Additional comments

In addition to the application form document, applicant needs to provide: Curriculum Vitae (CV), Diploma, e-mail address of at least one referee, and other evidence needed for satisfying position related selection criteria. Selected candidates who have achieved their higher qualifications outside Croatia will be required, before the signing of the employment contract, to obtain the Ruling on the Recognition of Foreign Higher Educational Qualifications issued by the Agency for Science and Higher Education.  The candidate cannot be employed as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Republic of Croatia for a total of more than four years. The employment, according to the Rules of Croatian Science Foundation - for work on a project as Postdoctoral Fellow, can be contracted a maximum of two times (i.e. on two different projects) and only with candidates whose period between the enrolment in doctoral studies and this employment is no longer than 10 years.

The employment includes a six-month trial period.
