Offer Description

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in biology. Active knowledge of English language is required. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in work with Dictyostelium discoideum model, molecular-biology assays specific for D. discoideum and expertise in confocal microscopy. The application must be accompanied by a CV, a letter of motivation in English, a certificate of the academic degree, and other documents proving the fulfilment of the terms of the competition.

Eligibility criteria

The following should be attached to the application form:

1.    Biography - general information, data on education, acquired professional qualifications and doctoral degree, professional work experience

2.    Proof of the academic degree  

3.   E-mail of at least one proposed foreign scientist from whom the Appointment Commission shall request written recommendations for the candidate

Additional comments

In addition to the application form document, applicant needs to provide: Curriculum Vitae (CV), Diploma, e-mail address of at least two referees, and other evidence needed for satisfying position related selection criteria.

Selected candidates who have achieved their higher qualifications outside Croatia will be required, before the signing of the employment contract, to obtain the Ruling on the Recognition of Foreign Higher Educational Qualifications issued by the Agency for Science and Higher Education.

The candidate cannot be employed as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Republic of Croatia for a total of more than four years.
