Highly motivated Doctoral Student will work on development of new chiral organometallic ligands and associated organometallic catalysts with application in stereoselective transformations within NPOO project "RESET Principles in Design of Chiral Cyclopentadienyl Ligands with Adjustable Steric Elements".

Eligibility criteria

Prerequisites for Appointment to Doctoral student position /.In addition to the general conditions for employment, applicants must meet the requirements stipulated in Article 43. in the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Act and:

Master degree in chemistry.
 

The following should be attached to the application form: resume, evidence of the required academic degree and evidence on the fulfilment of other requirements.
Appointment to a Doctoral student position  is for temporary period for 5 years.

Additional comments

Selected candidates who have achieved their higher qualifications outside Croatia will be required, before the signing of the employment contract, to obtain the Ruling on the Recognition of Foreign Higher Educational Qualifications issued by the Agency for Science and Higher Education.

With an applicant for the position of Doctoral Student (Assistant position) who has already been employed in the position of Doctoral Student (Assistant position) in the Republic of Croatia, the employment can be contracted only on the remaining time of up to five years. 

Assistant is required to enrol in postgraduate university studies (doctoral studies).

The employment includes a six-month trial period. 

The workplace with special working conditions requires medical examination prior to Work contract, which should ensure that candidate health is acceptable for work in common conditions in that line of work. If medical indications do not comply those conditions, Work contract will not be signed.
