Highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow will work on synthesis of new types of chiral organometallic ligands and associated organometallic catalysts with application in stereoselective transformations within NPOO project "RESET Principles in Design of Chiral Cyclopentadienyl Ligands with Adjustable Steric Elements".

Prerequisites for Appointment to Postdoctoral Fellow Employment Position:
In addition to the general conditions for employment, applicants must meet the requirements stipulated in Article 43. in the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Act and:

Ph.D. degree in chemistry,.
 

The following should be attached to the application form: resume, evidence of the required academic degree and evidence on the fulfilment of other requirements.
Appointment to a  Postdoctoral Fellow position is for temporary to 30.6.2026., and the longest until the end of the project, but not longer than 2 years and 8 months.

 

 

Additional comments

Selected candidates who have achieved their higher qualifications outside Croatia will be required, before the signing of the employment contract, to obtain the Ruling on the Recognition of Foreign Higher Educational Qualifications issued by the Agency for Science and Higher Education.

The candidate cannot be employed as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Republic of Croatia for a total of more than four years. 

The employment, according to the Rules of the Recovery and resilience plan for Croatia - for work on a project as Postdoctoral Fellow, can be contracted only with candidates whose period between the completion of doctoral studies and this employment is no longer than 7 years.

The employment includes a six-month trial period. 

The workplace with special working conditions requires medical examination prior to Work contract, which should ensure that candidate health is acceptable for work in common conditions in that line of work. If medical indications do not comply those conditions, Work contract will not be signed.
