Associate professor

Vacancy for the appointment to the artistic-teaching rank and the position of associate professor in the field of arts, subfield of music arts, branch of music reproduction – conducting, for the Study of Opera Roles, at the Voice Department – 1 person under a full-time employment contract of indefinite duration.

Conditions from point 1. to point 8.: Applicants in addition to the conditions prescribed by Articles 94 and 95 of the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (Official Gazette 123/03, 198/03, 105/04, 174/04, 02 / 07- Decision of the USRH, 46/07 , 45/09, 63/11, 94/13, 139/13, 101 / 14- Decision of the USRH, 60 / 15- Decision of the USRH and 131/17), are obliged to meet the conditions prescribed by the Decision of the Rectors' Assembly of the Republic of Croatia on the necessary conditions for assessment of teaching and professional activities in the process of election to artistic-teaching and teaching titles in the field of art (Official Gazette No. 61/17) and the Ordinance on the conditions for election to artistic-teaching titles (Official Gazette No. 86/10).

Conditions from point 9. to point. 14.: According to the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Act, the conditions of the National Council for Higher Education and the Rectors' Assembly, and the general acts of the Academy of Music.

Special condition: Applicants who are selected for the first time must hold an inaugural lecture.

The application must contain: diploma proving professional qualifications, proof of citizenship, curriculum vitae (maximum one page signed by the applicant), lists and evidence of artistic, scientific, teaching and professional work, a copy of the decision (certificate) on previous selection to the title if selected. For points 1., 2., 3., 4., 5., 6., 7., 8, 11., 12.,13.,14. of the competition should be accompanied by a copy of the decision (certificate) on the previous election to the title.

Foreign citizens must also enclose proof of knowledge of the Croatian language; level B2 for Points 1.,2.,3.,4.,5.,6.,7.,8.,10.,11.,12.,13.,14., level C1 for point 9. of the call for applications according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the Decision on the Recognition of Foreign Higher Education Qualifications issued by the Agency for Science and Higher Education or a certificate of application. The application, signed CV (maximum one page) and lists should be submitted in written format and on an USB stick in WORD format (.doc).

Applications shall be accepted for a period of 30 days from the date of publication of this call for applications in the Official Gazette of the Republic Croatia. Incomplete and late applications shall not be considered.

Applications must be sent via registered mail to the following address: Academy of Music, Zagreb, Trg Republike Hrvatske 12, indicating “za natječaj“ (for the call for applications) or may be submitted in person to the registry.

Applicants (m/f) who hold equal opportunity rights according to special regulations are obligated to refer to this right in the application.
