Based on the Decision of the Council of the Faculty of Physics of the University of Rijeka
Faculty of Physics, Radmile Matejčić 2, is advertising the following positions:

1. One position for an assistant professor (m/f), in an employment relationship for an indefinite period with full-time employment, for the scientific field of Natural Sciences, field of Physics

Applicants must meet the conditions prescribed by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (NN 119/22.) and the regulations based on it.

Application must contain:        
- Curriculum vitae,       
- a copy of the proof of citizenship of the Republic of Croatia or another country,         
- a copy of proof of appropriate professional training, i.e. the academic degree of Doctor of Science,
- list of works and relevant works for selection (referse to the position no. 1., 2. and 3.)
- a decision on the recognition of a foreign educational qualification for those candidates who obtained the qualification abroad (or proof that the recognition procedure is in progress),
- certificate of occupational medicine on health capacity, i.e. necessary psychophysical characteristics (for the first employment at the University of Rijeka).

• Preference for the position 1. of this tender will be given to candidates who demonstrated:

- Multiple years of experience in teaching physics, especially the courses in the field of quantum and conformal field theories

- Multiple years of experience in scientific research in the fields of theor of gravitation, quantum and conformal field theories, group theories and theory of symmetries.

The Faculty reserves the right to conduct candidate testing, about which candidates who have submitted timely and complete applications to the competition will be notified later.
