Assistant, for the scientific field of technical sciences, the scientific field of computer science, for a certain period of time until the return of the temporarily absent employee Conditions: - completed university graduate studies in informatics/informatics and technology/computer science/data science and engineering/mathematics-computer science/electrical engineering and information technology Additional criteria: - knowledge of artificial intelligence/machine learning - desirable work experience in teaching at undergraduate and graduate university or professional studies - previous recognitions, awards, etc. for excellence in studies and research work Applicants who apply for the competition must, in addition to the conditions specified in the competition, also meet the general conditions prescribed by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activities (Official Gazette 119/2022). Along with the hand signed competition application, applicants attach: CV, copy of diploma of completed studies, decision on recognition of foreign higher education qualification for applicants who obtained the qualification abroad, transcript of grades with average, proof of citizenship, and foreign citizens must also attach proof of knowledge Croatian language (C2-advanced level), and proof of fulfillment of other conditions and additional criteria. Applicants who invoke the right of priority in employment in accordance with special regulations are obliged to invoke this right in the application for the competition and have priority over other candidates only under the same conditions established by the competition, and on the basis of an orderly, complete and timely application for the competition. Applicants who refer to the right of priority in employment in accordance with Articles 102 and 103 of the Act on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21, 156/23) , they are required to attach, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, all necessary evidence from Article 103, paragraph 1, available at the link of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843. By submitting an application to the tender, applicants expressly agree that PMF, as the manager of the collection of personal data, may collect, use and further process data for the purpose of implementing the tender procedure in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act. Applicants who meet the formal conditions of the competition can be tested for knowledge and skills essential for performing the duties of the position, through tests and/or interviews. All information about the testing will be published on the official website of the Faculty of Science in Split https://www.pmfst.unist.hr/, at least five days before the event. If the applicant does not attend the verification, it will be considered that he has withdrawn his application to the competition. Applicants will be notified of the place and time of the examination by email to the email address they provide in the application. Candidates of both genders can participate equally in the competition. Applications must be submitted in electronic form within 30 days of the announcement of the tender in the Official Gazette, to the email address [email protected]. A complete application is considered an application that contains all attachments and is signed by hand. Untimely and incomplete applications will not be considered, nor will applicants of incomplete applications be invited to supplement their application. Applicants will be notified of the results of the competition within the legal deadline.
