For the election of one (1) associate to the nominal associate title of Assistant in the scientific area of Social Sciences, scientific field of Economics, scientific branch Accounting without establishing employment.

Applicants for the election under point III. have to submit:

- an extensive CV (signed) with phone number and e-mail address,

- proof of citizenship (in the form of a copy),

- proof of impunity (not older than 6 months),

- an electronic record of the data recorded in the registry of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute,

- evidence of the completed university studies and other documents proving that the applicant

meets the requirements for the required position

- transcript of records and other documents proving that the applicant meets the criteria relevant for the

election

Applicants must meet requirements stipulated by the Act on scientific activity and higher education (Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia No. 123/03, 198/03, 105/04, 174/04, 2/07,46/07, 45/09, 63/11, 94/13, 139/13, 101/14, 60/15 and 131/17), the Rector’s conference decision on required conditions for the election to scientific-teaching titles (Official Gazette No. 122/17, by the Rulebook on the election procedure for scientific-teaching, artistic-teaching, scientific, teaching and associative positions at the University of Rijeka and by the Statute of the University of Rijeka, and are obliged to provide all relevant evidence.

Applicants whose mother tongue is not Croatian are required to submit proof of their command of the Croatian language at C2 level of Common European Framework of Reference for languages (check of the command of Croatian at the required level can exceptionally be carried out in oral and/or in written form if the candidate has no written proof on the command of Croatian language). Applicants who acquired their qualification outside the Republic of Croatia must submit a decision on the professional recognition of foreign higher education qualifications issued by the Agency for Science and Higher Education.

Documentation has to be submitted in uncertified copies.

The applicant who, on the basis of special regulations, is entitled to priority employment, is required to refer to this right in the application and to submit all evidence prescribed for the exercise of the above rights in special regulations, and has the advantage over the other candidates only under the same conditions.

Applicants who, pursuant to Article 102 of the Croatian Homeland War Veterans Act and Members of their Families and other special regulations, have the right of preference in employment, are obliged to invoke that right in the application for competition and to provide all the evidence for the exercise of that right, and have advantage over other gateways only on equal terms.

For applicants who meet the prescribed requirements, the Faculty reserves the right to perform a knowledge and skills assessment by testing and / or an interview. Applicants will be informed on the knowledge and skills assessment in a timely manner. If the applicant does not attend the knowledge and skills assesment, he / she is deemed to have withdrawn his / her application.

The Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management reserves the right to cancel the tender partly or fully.
