    CALL

 

For appointment to the following positions:

1.        Appointment of one teacher to a scientific-teaching position of full professor, area of Biomedicine and Healthcare, field of Clinical Medical Sciences, for an indefinite period of time, part-time employment of 25%;

2.       Appointment of one teacher to a scientific-teaching position of assistant professor, area of Biomedicine and Healthcare, field of Clinical Medical Sciences, for an indefinite period of time, part-time employment (secondary employment, Article 18a of the Labour Act);

3.       Appointment of one teacher to a scientific-teaching position of assistant professor, area of Social Sciences, field of Information and Communication Sciences, for an indefinite period of time, full-time employment;

Conditions: Applicants for points 1 – 3 must meet the requirements prescribed by the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (the Official Gazette 119/2022) and the requirements of the Rectors’ Conference, as well as the provisions of the Ordinance on conditions for appointment to scientific, scientific–teaching, artistic–teaching, teaching, and associate grades and corresponding positions at University North, and the University North Bylaw.  Enclosed with the application to the Call, applicants are required to submit the documentation stipulated by the Ordinance on the conditions for appointment to scientific, scientific-teaching, artistic-teaching, teaching, and associate grades and corresponding positions at University North.

Application: Enclosed with the application to the Call, applicants for points 1–3 must submit all documentation specified in the Ordinance on conditions for appointment to scientific, scientific-teaching, artistic-teaching, teaching, and associate grades and corresponding positions at University North (www.unin.hr ), as defined in Articles 39 and 40 of the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (the Official Gazette 119/2022) and the aforementioned Ordinance, as well as a proof of proficiency in the Croatian language (level B2 – for foreign nationals).

Applications for points 1–3 will be accepted for 30 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

A complete application must contain all information and attachments in the manner specified in the Call. Applicants who submit incomplete or untimely applications, as well as applicants who do not meet the formal requirements stipulated in the Call will not be considered.

Applicants will be notified of the results of the Call within the legally prescribed deadline, through the University North website, www.unin.hr , and the date of publication will be considered the date of notification delivery to the applicants.

Applicants who have preferential rights according to special regulations are obliged to invoke the right in their application and provide documents proving the status entitling them to preferential treatment in their application to the Call. Preference over other applicants is granted only under equal conditions.

By submitting the application, applicants will be deemed to have given their explicit consent to University North to collect and process the personal data provided in the application and the accompanying documentation for the purpose of conducting the call procedure in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered.
