  • Academic appointment and full permanent employment with a trial period of 90 days at the Department of Public Health and Health Protection:
  •  Of a lecturer (m/f) in the field of Biomedicine and Health, the field of public health and health protection (1 vacancy)

    •  

    The applicants have to submit the following documentation in written form in Croatian language:

  • Application
  • Degree certificates (certified copies)
  • Curriculum Vitae with information on teaching and professional activities
  • List and reprints of published papers relevant for academic appointment
  • Confirmation of representation of papers in databases of National and University Library in   Zagreb
  • Confirmation of public lectures and teaching activities at higher education institutions  
  • Confirmation of professional work experience (e-workbook from the e-Citizen platform)
  • Proof of fulfilment of the conditions of Art. 103 of the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette 121/17, 98/19, 84/21)
  • Confirmation of the knowledge of Croatian language (for foreign citizens)
  • Police clearance not older than 3 months (from the e-Citizen platform)

    Academic appointment conditions are defined by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette, No.119/2022), Decision on the conditions for the evaluation of teaching and professional activities in the selection process for teaching positions (Official Gazette 20/2012, 85/2013, 4/2015) and the Statute of the University of Applied Health Sciences).

    The closing date for applications is 30 days from the date of announcement in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia. People of both sexes can apply. Candidates who claim the right to priority in employment under Article 102, paragraphs 1-3 of the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of their Families (Official Gazette No. 121/2017, 98/19, 84/21), Article 48 of the Law on the Protection of Military and Civilian Invalids of War (Official Gazette No. 33/92, 57/92 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01 , 103/03,148/13, 98/19) and Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18) are obliged to invite upon the right and attach all prescribed documentation according to a special law with the application, and they have an advantage over other candidates only under equal conditions.

    Under the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation no. 2016/679 and the Act on the Implementation of the General Regulation on Data Protection (Official Gazette No. 42/18), all documents submitted were sent by the candidate's free will, and it is considered that the candidate has given consent to the processing of all data, which will be processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting the Call procedure.
