The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching and curriculum development for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of Architecture, to play a lead role in collaborative research projects and conduct ongoing original learning activities and publications in the areas of Architecture, Architectural Design, or equivalent. 

Candidates must have at least a Masters degree at the postgraduate level (or equivalent) in a relevant architectural discipline, preferable in architectural design, and excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Knowledge and experience of architectural design practice are necessary. Experience of supervising PhD and Master students and experience of teaching, tutorial or laboratory work at undergraduate and postgraduate level in an international English speaking institution are desirable. 

Salary will be within the range of RMB 345,676 to RMB 471,120 per annum depending on skills and experience (salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance).In addition, an attractive package including employment support allowance and insurance will be provided for international appointments. 

The post will initially be offered on a fixed term contract with the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China for a period of up to 3 years starting1 August2024 or soon after. This contract may be extended on an indefinite basis by mutual agreement.
