The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen invites applications and nominations for tenure stream faculty. Excellent candidates will be considered in all areas of pure and applied mathematics (financial mathematics included), and all ranks, including

• Full Professorship • Associate Professorship • Tenure-track Assistant Professorship

Candidates should have demonstrated excellence in research and a strong commitment to teaching. A doctoral degree is required at the time of appointment. Candidates for senior positions must have an established strong record of research and leadership in their research areas. Salary, and start-up fund for long-term appointment, are highly competitive and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Regular faculty members (tenured and tenure-track) will be provided housing (on-campus or off-campus) with heavily subsidized rent.

The University: Located in the Longgang District of Shenzhen, CUHKSZ is a research-intensive university, established in 2014 through a Mainland-Hong Kong collaboration with generous support from the Shenzhen Municipal Government. It inherits the fine academic traditions of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and will develop its academic programs in phases and offer courses in Schools of Science and Engineering, Data Science, Life and Health Sciences, Management and Economics, Music, Medicine and Humanities and Social Science. English is the main language for course instructions, and the students will receive degrees of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

The City: Shenzhen, a special economic zone in China and a major city located in Southern China and situated immediately north of Hong Kong, is the high-tech and manufacturing hub of China.
