The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) was the first Sino-foreign university to open its doors in China in 2004. Comprising three faculties: Business, Science & Engineering and Humanities & Social Sciences, UNNC has more than 8,000 students and 850 staff members from 70 countries and regions worldwide.

The Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO) at UNNC is responsible for the University's donor and alumni community and aims to co-create donor engagement and cultivation programmes, alongside a dynamic proposition for global alumni and supporters to engage with UNNC through special activities and events. The Office oversees  fundraising, donor relations, UNNC's Education Foundation and alumni relations.

Reporting to the Director (DARO), the Deputy Director of Alumni Relations will develop and drive the alumni engagement strategy to harness time, expertise and influence of University's alumni, volunteers, advocates, and community of friends living in China and globally, in support of the its priorities. Leading a team and working collaboratively with Development colleagues,  the success of this role is measured by increasing levels of advocacy, volunteerism and philanthropic support to UNNC. The Deputy Director will harness and drive the potential for UNNC's alumni engagement proposition to support UNNC and its ambitions.

You are a highly effective leader with experience of guiding a small team to achieving outstanding results and a track record of shaping, directing and implementing successful external engagement strategy and campaigns.
