The Instituto de Estudios Astrofísicos at Universidad Diego Portales (UDP), in Chile, invites applications for a 2-year postdoctoral research position in supernova remnants / supernovae to work with Prof. José Prieto. The candidate is expected to have experience in observational studies of supernovae remants or supernovae, with interests in constraining their progenitors and explosion mechanisms. While at UDP, successful candidates will qualify as members of the Chilean community and will be eligible for the 10% privileged access to all telescopes in Chile, including Gemini South, VLT, Magellan, CTIO, SOAR, La Silla, ALMA, as well as to future facilities such as LSST.
