User Experience (UX)/User Interface (UI) Designer (Stream 1)

Stream 1: User Experience (UX)/User Interface (UI) Designer (AS-05)
Stream 2: Team Leader (AS-05)
Stream 3: Senior Operations Advisor and similar positions (AS-05)ED1 – Graduation with a degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience, as defined below.

Acceptable combination of education, training and experience is defined as a secondary school diploma combined with depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of duties on a regular basis for a period of approximately three (3) years** in one or more of the experiences listed below in the Experience Section (all 3 streams).

**A shorter duration may be considered based on demonstrated complexity and diversity of work handled, scope of work, and/or level of direct responsibility for a wide variety of complex files and/or projects.

Experience (All 3 Streams):

EX1 – Experience managing multiple complex activities, files, projects or priorities under tight deadlines and with competing demands.

EX2 – Experience developing and maintaining effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

EX3 – Experience preparing and presenting recommendations (including, but not limited to, developing planning documents, background papers, presentations and briefing materials) to various audiences, including Management.

Stream 1 Only:
EX4 – Experience in leading user experience research, analyzing and interpreting results, and applying them to mock-ups and prototypes.

Stream 2 Only:
EX5 – Experience in managing human resources, such as managing staff performance, developing training and learning plans, establishing goals and objectives.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)
AEX1 – Experience as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces
AEX2 – Courses in human centered design principles or user experience design and research
AEX3 – Recent experience working with analytics or other forms of data to synthesize information for reporting or monitoring
AEX4 – Recent experience using an Agile methodology or iterative methods.
AEX5 – Experience in project management
AEX6 – Experience in research methodologies, performance measurement or program evaluation preferably in a health-related field
AEX7 – Recent experience working in statistics for data analysis
