Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the School Administrator, and in close association with the Associate Director (Undergraduate), the undergraduate administrator interprets information contained in the Undergraduate Calendar, Academic Audits and monitors the academic progress of students in the BAS undergraduate programs from the time they are admitted until they graduate; prepares graduation summaries for approval at the Architecture Faculty Board and submission to the Registrar’s Office; maintains statistical information on applications and admissions, and maintains files on all students in the undergraduate programs. During registration, assists students with course selection; monitors and facilitates registration to new and returning students. The incumbent also performs reception duties in the School’s Main Office.
The incumbent provides support to graduate students, faculty, and visitors in the absence of the Graduate Administrator.
Qualifications:
The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:
•A thorough knowledge of regulations throughout the university;
•A thorough knowledge and understanding of procedures governing processing of student records;
•A thorough knowledge of the procedures and precedents involved.
•Personal initiative is essential.
•Tact, reliability, good interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential;
•The ability to take initiative, set priorities, work under pressure, and be able to work with a minimum of supervision is very important.
Education and Experience:
The above is normally acquired through the completion of:
•A two year college diploma, or two years of post-secondary study at the university level or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Minimum five years of related experience in a university environment, or equivalent, including a sound knowledge of undergraduate studies.

Health and Safety Requirements
This position is regularly required to work on campus in person. If required to work remotely, you will be notified by your manager when working full time physically onsite will resume.
