Hiring Unit:
Athletics and Recreation

Position Summary:

Reporting to the McGill Redbird Football Head Coach, the incumbent is expected to assist with day-to-day coaching and administrative duties.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coach the Wide Receiver
  • Break down data on practice and game film
  • Recruit prospective Student-Athletes
  • Assist with the implementation of game plans for the upcoming opponent
  • Assist the Offensive Coordinator with day-to-day tasks
  • Responsible to gather and track the academic progress of student athletes
  • Responsible to meet with them and ensure academic success
  • Assist the Head Coach with administrative help 
  • Assist the head coach with day-to-day tasks

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

  • Proficient in MS Office, hudl platform
  • Successful background check
  • Excellent interpersonal and recruiting skills
  • Five (5) years' experience in related field of sport, an asset
  • Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an English-language university where day-to-day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
