Position Summary:
Reporting to the McGill Redbird Football Head Coach, the incumbent is expected to assist with day-to-day coaching and administrative duties.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coach the Wide Receiver
- Break down data on practice and game film
- Recruit prospective Student-Athletes
- Assist with the implementation of game plans for the upcoming opponent
- Assist the Offensive Coordinator with day-to-day tasks
- Responsible to gather and track the academic progress of student athletes
- Responsible to meet with them and ensure academic success
- Assist the Head Coach with administrative help
- Assist the head coach with day-to-day tasks
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
- Proficient in MS Office, hudl platform
- Successful background check
- Excellent interpersonal and recruiting skills
- Five (5) years' experience in related field of sport, an asset
- Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an English-language university where day-to-day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
