Teaching Assistant, GPS 960: Introduction to Ethics and Integrity

Reporting to the course instructor, the general duties and responsibilities of this position are to provide support in the following ways:  


  • Marking assignments and providing feedback on student work (including the flagging of suspected cases of academic dishonesty, which should be brought to the attention of the course instructor)
  • Liaising regularly with the course instructor to monitor and discuss the work and progress of students registered in GPS 960
  • Responding in a timely manner to emails from the course instructor and GPS 960 students
  • Utilizing educational technologies such as Canvas and other such tools to facilitate and enhance student learning

Your general location of work will be remote and you will report to Nazreen Beaulieu.

Required Number of Hours: 3 - 4 hours per week

Qualifications (Skills and Abilities)
The person in this role must be registered as a full-time graduate student and demonstrate a commitment to and an understanding of ethical standards in teaching and professional practice.

Preference for this position will be given to applicants who have completed GPS 960: Introduction to Ethics and Integrity. 

You must be registered in a graduate program.
