Position Summary:
This requisition is for one position, at 80 hours, in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology. Effective dates of the appointment are July 1 to August 20, 2022. Course dates are July 7 to August 5, 2022.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Preparing Class Materials
  • Leading Practice and Discussion Groups
  • Assisting Students’ Learning
  • Must be available for class on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:05PM to 3:55PM, July 7 through July 28, 2022.


Qualifications:

  • Senior PhD student in Counselling Psychology, Applied Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work or Counselling, or equivalent
  • Completion of EDPC 608 Group Counselling: Theory and EDPC 624 Group Counselling: Practice or equivalent, an asset
  • Advanced understanding of theories of group intervention
  • Experience in the application of group theory
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant in the past
  • Experience using MyCourses for course management
  • Knowledge in French may be required
