PRIMARY DUTIES

Professor Carmen G. Loiselle’s research group is recruiting a graduate student research assistant for psychosocial oncology and second language learning studies based at McGill University and Jewish General Hospital.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Preparation of ethics board applications and amendments
  • Creation of electronic questionnaires in Qualtrics
  • Financial and administration paperwork
  • Participant recruitment and data collection
  • Literature searches
  • Participation in meetings
  • Update CV and CCV
  • Basic data analysis in SPSS
  • Update LoiselleLab website and other social media platforms
  • Additional research support activities as needed

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Minimum requirement:

  • Current McGill University graduate student
  • At least 6 months of clinical research experience in an academic or hospital setting

OTHER QUALIFYING SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Advanced verbal and written communications skills in English and French
  • Proficiency in Qualtrics, Microsoft Office, and SPSS are assets
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Hours/Week & Schedule:

10-15 hours per week

Hourly Wage:

$20.00 - $25.00, depending on research experience
