PRIMARY DUTIES
Professor Carmen G. Loiselle’s research group is recruiting a graduate student research assistant for psychosocial oncology and second language learning studies based at McGill University and Jewish General Hospital.
Specific responsibilities:
- Preparation of ethics board applications and amendments
- Creation of electronic questionnaires in Qualtrics
- Financial and administration paperwork
- Participant recruitment and data collection
- Literature searches
- Participation in meetings
- Update CV and CCV
- Basic data analysis in SPSS
- Update LoiselleLab website and other social media platforms
- Additional research support activities as needed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum requirement:
- Current McGill University graduate student
- At least 6 months of clinical research experience in an academic or hospital setting
OTHER QUALIFYING SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Advanced verbal and written communications skills in English and French
- Proficiency in Qualtrics, Microsoft Office, and SPSS are assets
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Hours/Week & Schedule:
10-15 hours per week
Hourly Wage:
$20.00 - $25.00, depending on research experience
