Department of Chemistry

Position Summary:

• Collaborate with researchers to develop and implement algorithms for numerical reconstruction of holography microscopy images.

• Utilize machine learning and deep learning methods to automate the process of image processing.

• Create image classification models to extract valuable data from holography microscopy images.

• Participate in regular team meetings, present findings, and contribute to project discussions.

Qualifications:

• A solid foundation in the fields of machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence.

• Fluency in programming languages, including Python.

• Basic knowledge of differential equations is preferred.

• Undergraduate student in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, AOS, or a related discipline.

• Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 3 on a scale of 0-4.

• Candidate must be Work Study approved for the Fall 2024 semester.
