Department of Psychology (Professor Sarah Racine)


Position Summary:

  • Monitor incoming data from an online screening questionnaire to evaluate participant eligibility.
  • Collect data from participants, including via conducting clinical interviews in Session 1 and running participants through a three-hour psychophysiological testing session for Sessions 2
  • Assist with extraction and processing of psychophysiological and self-report research data using softwares such as Mindware Analysis, Qualtrics, and SPSS
  • Oversee the training and management of other undergraduate RAs.
  • Download data on an ongoing basis and prepare data files for interim analyses.
  • Prepare and submit ethics amendments and renewals.
  • Assist with preparation of research data for conference presentations and publications
  • Submit ethics amendments and renewals


Qualifications:

  • Experience in a laboratory environment;
  • Experience with collection and analysis of psychophysiological data using Mindware Technologies hardware and software;
  • Experience working with people with eating disorders

Experience and education:

  • Course work in psychology;
  • Significant experience in a laboratory environment
