Department of Biology (Professor Catherine Potvin)


Position Summary:

  • Identifies plants collected during the Field work of 2022 from Abitibi;
  • Updates the database of the plant inventory with newly identified specimens;
  • Creates data base for all specimens collected with their pertinent information;
  •  Ensures specimens collected are well organized and are well conserved;
  •  Collaborates with local co-researchers in order to decide on how to best conserve the plants.


Qualifications:

Experience collaborating with indigenous communities; Fluent in French; Experience with plant identification; Attention to details when working on a database. Experience and education: Background in ecology; Field work experience
