The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following courses during the following sessions:


2024 Spring/Summer Session

Course Number, Section, and Name: CHEM 112.3 (01) General Chemistry I Structure Bonding and Properties of Materials
Term and Course Dates: Spring Session, Q1 (May 6 – 27)

Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a lecture
Course Schedule: 
MTWThF 8:30 am to 10:50 am
Expected Enrollment Limit: 96
Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree in Chemistry is required, along with relevant teaching experience. In special circumstances, M.Sc. degree in Chemistry may be considered.

Course Number, Section, and Name: CHEM 115.3 (02) General Chemistry II Chemical Processes
Term and Course Dates: Spring Session, Q2 (June 3 – 21)

Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree in Chemistry is required, along with relevant teaching experience. In special circumstances, M.Sc. degree in Chemistry may be considered.

Term and Course Dates: Summer Session, Q3 (July 2 – 22)

Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a lecture
Course Schedule: MTWThF 8:30 am to 10:50 am
Expected Enrollment Limit: 72
Location: Saskatoon

Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree in Chemistry is required, along with relevant teaching experience. In special circumstances, M.Sc. degree in Chemistry may be considered.

A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
