The Department of Geography and Planning, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the 2024-2025 Regular session:
Course Number, Section, and Name: PLAN 390.3 (03) Research and Field Methods in Planning
Term and Course Dates: Fall Term (September to December 2024)

Delivery Mode: Lecture (in-person), University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon campus.
Course Schedule: Fridays 9:00am to 12:20pm
Expected Enrollment Limit: 25
Qualifications: Minimum of a master's degree. Academic and/or professional background in urban planning. Knowledge of and experience in social science field methods and qualitative data collection and analysis is required. Completion of a university instruction training course. Previous teaching experience at a post-secondary educational institution is an asset. The candidate will hold an advanced degree in urban planning or urban design and hold membership in a related professional field. The candidate should hold membership in the Saskatchewan Professional Planning Institute.
A valid driver’s license is required for off campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
