Course Description: 

Completion of a graduate degree related to business or management (e.g. MSc or MBA); Several years previous experience in teaching one or more similar courses at the undergraduate (university) level; Demonstrated teaching excellence; Currency in and mastery of the subject area.

Qualifications:

Graduate degree in business or management or undergraduate degree in business or management with a professional designation (CA or CFA).   Several years related professional experience in the CSR field.  Previous experience teaching a related course at the university level.

(In addition to minimum) A PhD in a related subject area; Previous experience teaching one or more similar courses at UTSC; Consistent, strong course teaching evaluations.

Duties:

All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of on-line course content; development, administration and marking of assignments, quizzes, tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades, holding regular office hours and maintaining reasonable availability for student and administrative contact; screening, selection and supervision of a team of TAs assigned to the course. 

Estimated TA Support (Hours):

Approximately 50 minutes per student enrolled over 30

F Term - Tuesday, June 18, 2024 to Saturday, June 22, 2024
Y and S Terms - Saturday, August 10, 2024 to Saturday, August 24, 2024

Note: All positions involve the completion of all course grading. You must be available throughout the exam period as exams are scheduled centrally and individual preferences for exam times/dates cannot always be accommodated.

Salary for a half-course (0.50 FCEs) inclusive of vacation pay: The Sessional Lecturer I rate of pay will be $9,457.89. Sessional Lecturer I-Long Term rate of pay will be $9,930.79. Sessional Lecturer II rate of pay will be $10,121.76.  Sessional Lecturer II-Long Term rate of pay will be $10,326.61. Sessional Lecturer III rate of pay will be $10,362.76. Sessional Lecturer III-Long Term rate of pay will be $10,570.01.
