Course Code and Title: MATA36H3 Calculus II for Physical Sciences 

Course Description: This course is intended to prepare students for the physical sciences. Topics to be covered include: techniques of integration, Newton's method, approximation of functions by Taylor polynomials, numerical methods of integration, complex numbers, sequences, series, Taylor series, differential equations.

Lecture Section: LEC01: MON 11am-1pm/THU 12-1pm.

Qualifications: Previous teaching experience as the instructor of a Mathematics course at the university level (required). Previous teaching experience as the instructor for MATA36H3 or equivalent (strongly desirable).

Duties: All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades; submission of a deferred exam; holding regular office hours; supervising TAs assigned to course.

Estimated TA Support (Hours): 55 hours per tutorial.

Sessional Lecturer I Long Term $9,930.79
Sessional Lecturer II $10,121.77
Sessional Lecturer II Long Term $10,326.62
Sessional Lecturer III $10,362.76
Sessional Lecturer III Long Term $10,570.01.
