DRM455H1 F Advanced Production 

L0101 counts as 0.50 credit 

An advanced-level hands-on investigation of various aspects of theatrical production, including stage management, lighting and sound design, and video design. Using the skills developed in this course, students will form the core of the production team for CDTPS productions, in particular DRM402H1 Directors' Showcase.

Sessional Lecturer III $10,362.76     Sessional Lecturer III Long Term $10,570.02

Minimum Qualifications:
Evidence of recent teaching effectiveness in production. Extensive experience in technical theatre (minimum 10 years), working in a variety of roles (e.g. lighting designer, sound designer, stage manager, production manager, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Theatre Studies with a focus on production. Experience with production technology (e.g. QLab, programable lighting console, digital sound board, etc.) 


Description of Duties: Developing a course syllabus, collaborating with the advanced directing and advanced design instructors in relation to the DRM402H Directors' Showcase;  planning and delivering lectures, designing assignments, tests and examinations, grading, managing course content and grades on Quercus & CIS, holding office hours, invigilating tests and exams (if applicable).
