DRM301H1 F Voice & Movement I (Movement Component) 

L0201 counts as 0.25 credit 


This course offers training in voice and movement techniques for 300-level performance students. It is a companion to DRM300Y Performance II and recommended preparation for the DRM403Y Mainstage Performance. Please note that this course is co-taught, and this job posting refers only to the Movement component of the course.

Sessional Lecturer III $5,181.38       Sessional Lecturer III Long Term $5,285.01

Minimum Qualifications: Evidence of recent teaching effectiveness in movement/acting at a recognized theatre school or university; professional dance/acting/theatre experience.
Preferred Qualifications: MFA in Dance/Acting/Performance. Diploma in movement training from an accredited institution. 


Description of Duties: This position will form part of a teaching team. Duties include: developing a course syllabus in collaboration with the voice instructor for this course, planning and delivering lectures, designing assignments, tests and examinations, grading, managing course content and grades on Quercus & CIS, holding office hours, invigilating tests and exams (if applicable), and supervising a teaching assistant (if applicable).
