The Department of Anthropology invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following courses during the following session(s):

2024-2025 Regular Session Term Two
Course Number, Section, and Name: ANTH 202, 02, Anthropology and Indigenous People in Canada
Term and Course Dates: Term Two (January 6th , 2025 to April 4th , 2025)

Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture in person
Course Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 12:30 p.m. to 1:50 p.m.
Expected Enrollment Limit: 75
Location:  Saskatoon
Qualifications:  A minimum of a Master’s degree in Anthropology or a related discipline, PhD preferred plus previous Anthropology instructional planning and teaching experience. A successful teaching record with undergraduate students is mandatory. Candidates will be required to demonstrate scholarly expertise and experience in research on Indigenous topics in Canada.

Course Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday 2:30 p.m. to 3:50 p.m.
Expected Enrollment Limit: 140
Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: A minimum of a Master’s degree in Anthropology or a related discipline, PhD preferred plus previous Anthropology instructional planning and teaching experience.

A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be canceled due to low enrolment.
