Course Description: This course continues where MGT 2250 left off, focusing on decision making within the financial reporting environment in Canada and internationally. We will continue to place emphasis on identifying, interpreting and analyzing appropriate generally accepted accounting principles within a case environment in order to enhance problem-solving skills and develop professional judgement. More complex issues such as employee future benefits, leases and taxes will be examined and therefore, there will be an increased emphasis on quantitative analysis.
Course Title: MGT 2251 - Financial Reporting II

Estimated TA support: 110 hours
Sessional dates of appointment: May 13, 2024 - August 9, 2024
Salary: $52.26 + 4% vacation pay (CUPE dues deducted by accounting officer)
Qualifications:
- Advanced Graduate Accounting Degree, MBA, or CPA Designation
- Professional marking experience preferred
Description of duties:
- Marking assignments/tests
- Debrief with students and/or tutorials
- Review sessions
- Invigilation (where required)
