Jombone is looking for aggressive individuals for full-stack developer positions to drive and accelerate its new software development initiatives.

Role: Senior Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the complete lifecycle of web development projects.
• Ensure product development, design, solution and delivery are in complete agreement with the organizational goals.
• Study & understand the business operations and needs, analyze the problems, formulate the requirements, devise and propose solutions, prepare designs, implement the mutually agreeable design, fix bugs, oversee user acceptance testing and go-live.
• Engineer solutions creatively while keeping high quality and customer in focus.
• Work autonomously & independently with minimum supervision.
• Strive to solve the most pressing business challenges.
• Create sustainable digital solutions through collaboration and agile execution.
• Steer the end-to-end development and delivery of the assigned projects.
• Stay aligned with the overall goals and needs of the organization.
• Actively coach and mentor other members of the team by sharing knowledge, performing code reviews etc.
• Employ appropriate tools and automation to efficiently deploy and manage applications in a cloud environment by using fitting CI/CD tools.

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Java/J2EE based full-stack web development.
• 5-10 years of experience as Full Stack Developer.
• Exceptional programming skills at all levels, some leadership competency and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Solid understanding of Java, design patterns, data structures, OO design principles, web architecture.
• Strong technical background in backend and frontend development.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS.
• Nice to have experience with Apache Solr, Google APIs, AWS, Thymeleaf.
• Must be able to design and develop efficient and high-quality solutions.
• Has sharp analytical skills and is passionate about solving problems and possesses a strong desire to do better each time.
• Must have a clear understanding of what it takes to build secure, high performance, scalable and thread-safe APIs.
• Has knowledge of Blockchain and AI/ML or is willing to learn and work on related projects.
• Must be able to keep the big picture in mind, while being delivery focused as well as detail-oriented.
• Should have practical experience working in Agile.
• Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Should have sound problem resolution, negotiation and decision-making skills.
