Position Summary:
- Organization of scientific events, and production of publications in Quebec civil law.
- Ensure proper supervision of law students, as well as the progress of any and all work and activities during examination period.
- Research in private and comparative law.
- Coordination of research and academic events.
- Revising and editing of scientific publications in private and comparative law.
- Proficiency in software and databases (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Banner, Workday, Canva, MS Teams).
- Assist management with the preparation of various budgets.
- Assist management with the preparation of activity and financial reports for granting agencies.
Qualifications:
- University degree in law (or related discipline);
- Strong command of French and English (oral and written);
- Experience of coordination in a research context;
- Interest in legal research;
- Member of the Barreau du Québec or the Chambre des notaires du Québec (an asset).
