Your Opportunity

Hiring a part-time (60% FTE) Research Associate for a project funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, Rebuilding Public Trust after COVID-19: Examining Public Health Measures and Their Impact on Disabled Persons.

The Research Associate will be responsible for the coordination of the research project, which involves researchers from several departments at the University of Toronto and from several institutions in Canada and Brazil. The Research Associate will be responsible for: organizing regular meetings, preparing progress reports, supporting the organization of workshops and conferences, and assisting with the preparation of publications. This position will also ensure regular and timely consultation with the advisory board and the supporting disability organizations. Contributing, with the principal investigators, to the supervision of research assistants. In addition, there will be involvement in some of the qualitative and quantitative components of the research.

  • PhD in Law, Health Policy, or Health Science, or SJD, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in conducting health policy research.
  • Experience in research, project management, or administrative work related to academic research.
