Research employment opportunity taking place within a large consortium of several industry partners in the food industry. The research team is located at the Macdonald Campus of McGill (in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue).


Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out research work in the areas of food chemistry. Responsibilities include: Investigation of the effects of selected ingredients on the cheese making process, optimization of the cheese making process, and study of the protein-ligan interactions. Selected candidate is expected to carry out the experiments, analyze the data and prepare the presentation/minutes, and handle all interactions with the industry partner in the Consortium RITA.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. degree. Possess advanced knowledge in the field of Food Science, and at least 5 years of research experience acquired as Postdoctoral fellow in this specialty.
Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #4 (fluent) on a scale of 0-4.”
