Position Summary / Résumé du poste:

The incumbent's primary responsibilities include :

• To perform biochemistry, molecular biology and enzymatic reactions.
• To perform sample and solution preparation. 
• To perform kinetic analyses of biochemical reactions.
• To perform troubleshooting of biochemical reactions.
• To perform development of biochemical reactions.
• To record and document all laboratory activities clearly.
• To actively participate into project management

Other responsibilities may be assigned by the Research Supervisor.

Les principales responsabilités du titulaire du poste sont les suivantes 

• Effectuer des réactions biochimiques, de biologie moléculaire et enzymatiques.
• Préparer des échantillons et des solutions. 
• Effectuer des analyses cinétiques de réactions biochimiques.
• Effectuer le dépannage des réactions biochimiques.
• Développer des réactions biochimiques.
• Enregistrer et documenter clairement toutes les activités de laboratoire.
• Participer activement à la gestion des projets.
• Autres activités assignées par le directeur de recherche.

Qualifications / Compétences :    

M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Neurobiology or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of wet lab research experience.

M.Sc. en biochimie, biologie moléculaire, pharmacologie, neurobiologie ou dans un domaine connexe, avec un minimum de 2 ans d'expérience de recherche en laboratoire.
