Research Assistant - Rural Dementia Action Research (RaDAR) Team

Primary Purpose
To support research projects within the Rural Dementia Action Research (RaDAR) Program.

Nature of Work
Your location of work will be at the Canadian Centre for Rural and Agricultural Health, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon campus. You will report to Dr. Debra Morgan and Dr. Julie Kosteniuk.

Typical Duties or Accountabilities

  • Assist with research projects
  • Collect and analyze data
  • Writing including newsletters, and contributing to grants, reports, and manuscripts
  • Process and triage qualitative research data (audiofiles, transcripts)
  • Prepare graphics informed by quantitative data
  • Coordinate and support team meetings, webinars, and events
  • Prepare and share meeting materials (invitations, agenda, notes)
  • Manage online event registrations
  • Maintain faculty CV data and coordinate CV update processes

Education

  • Sc. degree in a health science related field and 1-2 years relevant experience.

  • Experience in a University setting is preferred.

  • Experience with publishing software would be an asset
